Seeing who's in a community and communicating with them
Find out who's in a community, follow that community, and email its members.
Before you begin
Procedure
Viewing a community's members
- To view the members of a community, perform one of the
following steps:
- Use the Members area on the community Overview page to view members.
- Hover over a member’s name to access their business card.
- Use the Filter by menu to sort the membership list according to role.
- Use the Sort by options to sort the display order.
- To find someone, click Find a Member and enter a name.
Following a community
Follow a community when you want to be notified about the
latest updates to, for example, activities or blogs.
Tip: If you don't want to follow an
entire community, you can follow specific content. For example, you can follow the entire wiki or a
specific wiki page.
- To follow community content, open that content and click Follow.

To follow an entire community:
- From the menu bar, click and use the filters to find the community that you want to follow.
- Click Follow this Community.
Emailing a community
Email fellow members to give them the news.
- From the community's Overview page, select .

Choose one of the following options:
- To send the notification by using your default email client, click Click to compose using your default email client.
- Use the email form provided to send the email.
