Drag and drop files

Move a single file or multiple files at the same time by using drag and drop.

Drag and drop is supported in the following ways:

• Drag and drop previously uploaded files to folders
• Multiple files can be selected for drag and drop
• Only personal files can be dragged and dropped into personal folders; you must have editing rights on the target folder.
• Only community-owned files can be added to community-owned folders; you must have editing rights on the target folder.
• Files can be either list view or grid view. From the list view, you can add files to a folder; select More to see actions for the file or folder
• Drag and drop can be completed within the content pane and from the content pane to the navigation tree
• Any file or folder view can be dragged and dropped once you have editing rights.
• To drag a file click anywhere on the target file, hold and drag.
