Searching or browsing for and in communities
Search or browse for communities that you're interested in. When you find a community, you can search within it for more detailed information.

Procedure
You can find communities that interest you in the following ways.
- 
In the menu bar, click Communities and then click My
Communities, Discover, or Invited. You see
a card-based display of Communities that match your selection.

From Connections search:

To search within a community, take the following steps:
- Open the community that you want to search.
 - 
Click Search
.
 - Enter one or more keywords to search for and select This Community.
 - Select the content that you want from the search results.
 
 - The Recommendations app on the classic home page lists communities that you might be interested in based on the communities you're currently a member of.
 - 
You can also search for the following file types:
- Most Microsoft Office file types, including
- Microsoft Word (.doc)
 - Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt)
 - Microsoft Excel (.xls and .xlsx)
 
 - OpenDocument file types
- Database (.odb)
 - Formula (.odf)
 - Graphics (.odg)
 - Presentation (.odp)
 - Spreadsheet (.ods)
