An announcement is a great way to get the word out to your whole community of bloggers. If you are a Blogs site administrator, you can post announcements for all users to see.

Create an announcement

Create a blog entry and enter your announcement text.
Expand the Advanced Settings section.
Select the box next to Post as announcement.
Post the entry. It will display in the Announcements section on the Public Blogs page.
